As long as I can remember art has been the driving force in my life.

I was raised on a dairy farm in central Minnesota & my Mom also had a ceramic shop that was attached to our home. I spent all of my childhood bouncing between playing with clay with Mom and doing chores with Dad (and of course playing with the animals!)

I cannot pinpoint where my journey through art started but I am most certainly happy it is not yet finished! I have worked in a large variety of mediums to include graphite, pastels, oils & clay etc. I went to college for studies in fine art and technical college for layout & design.

The focus of my art for the last 10 years has been copper and stained glass. I have a love of working with metals and an absolute obsession for the colors of glass.

Admittedly I am easily distracted. I may go out to check the mail and return indoors 6 or so hours later due to a few flowers that needed tending. I might need to do the laundry but find myself (never succeeding mind you!) trying to teach my basset hounds to fetch. But in the end life balances out, everything gets done and I get to create something beautiful that will bring enjoyment to someone's world!

I am a Mom & Wife, a Daughter & Sister. I value all of my family and friends for it is from them that I find the most inspiration.
